20 staff and clients of Catalyst headed for the hills this week to enjoy the beautiful Autumn weather and spend some time talking and discovering the countryside. With a lunch stop at Newlands Corner, theĀ 6 mileĀ trail ended at St Marthas and took in some of the best views in the Surrey Hills. Jill from the Woking office lead the walk and was a great source of information along the way, with her gruesome details of the explosion at the GunPowder Mill,Ā and expert knowledge of trees and wildlife.
Everyone thought the walk was something which should definitely be repeated and as one person said ā Really enjoyed the day…….wouldnāt do this by myselfā. Catalyst not only offers one to one and group support for people with problems around drugs and alcohol in Surrey but also many opportunities for socialising and confidence building.
