Flourish Community Garden

Address - Sturt Road. Frimley Green, Camberley, Surrey, GU16 6HY

Flourish community garden is located inside Frimley Lodge Park in Frimley Green, Surrey heath. The garden sits between the café and the children’s playground. There is a large car park at the park, a café and toilet facilities.

Community Connections gardening group takes place at the garden on Tuesday afternoon between 1-3pm this is on the Catalyst wellbeing groups timetable.

There is a range of activities across the seasons with an emphasis on growing vegetables, herbs, and fruit. Wildlife areas are being developed and there will be practical projects and natural crafts across the year.

The garden also offers volunteering opportunities to the local community to help maintain and develop the garden and or assist with groups and workshop sessions. More Information on this can be found at the volunteering page.

The Arch Community Garden

Address - The Arch centre, Alpha Road, Woking, GU22 8HF

The garden is located in Maybury, Woking next to the Maybury doctor’s surgery.

Community connections gardening group takes place weekly on Thursday mornings 10-12 this is on the wellbeing groups timetable.

The garden area was re-landscaped in July 2023 by RHS diploma students and the RHS communities’ team. The RHS communities team still support the garden and have collaborated on gardening workshop over the last year.

There is a range of activities across the season including maintaining the perennial and shrub beds, pruning, growing vegetables and herbs, There is access to the community hall and facilities at the Arch centre which can be used during poor weather.

Our Community Gardens

Both gardens provide people the opportunity to get out in the fresh air, do some physical activity, connect with others, take part in creative and practical tasks, and see the results of their efforts.

Participants will be able to benefit from fresh produce from the garden and food sharing opportunities will be developed within the Catalyst organisation and also with local community groups.
