This May Catalyst Counselling is taking part in Big Give’s Kind2Mind match-funding campaign to raise the funds for this popular service.
The Big Give is the UK’s biggest online match-funding platform and has raised over £280m for thousands of charities since 2007. From 14th May to 28th May, we will be raising money for Catalyst Counselling as part of the Big Give Kind2Mind campaign and during this time, every donation made via biggive.org will be DOUBLED, up to £2500, thanks to this special initiative.
How can you get involved?
- Visit the Big Give website Support Catalyst Counselling (biggive.org) and make a donation from 14th May 2024. The campaign will close on 28th May 2024.
Catalyst Counselling offers adults in Surrey, up to 24 FREE counselling sessions to work through their mental health concerns. The Big Give campaign represents a huge opportunity for our Catalyst Counselling service to raise vital funds to support our mission of providing free mental health support to those in need within our community. £5000 extra funding will enable us to recruit and train more counsellors, and to provide help to more people and faster.
Donations raised between 14th May to 28th May 2024 for Catalyst Counselling will be generously matched by Big Give to make double the difference in supporting Catalyst Counselling.
About Big Give
Big Give is a registered charity (1136547) that runs match funded campaigns for charities and special causes at key moments across the year. By connecting charities to match funders (like philanthropists, foundations or corporates) and the public, Big Give helps them double their donations. And, in doing so, makes an extraordinary difference to the world’s biggest challenges. It has raised more than £280m for charities to date.
Big Give campaigns have been promoted by celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Emilia Fox, Dame Judi Dence and Stephen Fry, among others. It’s a simple idea – when the public donates to a charity through a Big Give campaign, it asks funders to match that donation. So £50 from a member of the public becomes £100 for a good cause.
