Catalyst Support Woking Safe Harbour to open on 4th November

Following the successful launch of MFT’s Epsom site last summer, Catalyst Support is opening the Woking Safe Harbour on Monday, 4th November 2024.

The two Surrey Safe Harbours—a one-year pilot service—provide daytime crisis prevention and up to six weeks of tailored support to Surrey adults (18+) at risk of recurring mental health crises. The service works with clinically referred clients to reduce the frequency and severity of their mental health crises, offering alternative strategies for de-escalation and building resilience. By providing better outcomes and experiences, the service also aims to reduce visits to A&E and other emergency services.

Starting from 4th November, Woking Safe Harbour will be open for clinical referrals.

During November, Woking Safe Harbour will be open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Beginning Monday, 2nd December, we will extend to our full opening hours, including Saturday and Sunday, 9 am to 6 pm.

Please refer to the Safe Harbour brochure, available on the downloadable resources page, for further information about the service and referral criteria. An infographic detailing the key differences between this new service and our Safe Havens is also available. For enquiries, please contact safeharbour@catalystsupport.org.uk
