Today is World Mental Health Day – a day to raise awareness, educate and reduce the stigma so people feel comfortable talking about their mental health.
As a local mental health charity, mental health and wellbeing is part of our everyday work and we regularly encourage staff, volunteers, partners and clients to look after themselves and to look at ways of improving their emotional wellbeing if they are struggling.
This year to mark World Mental Health day, we are holding the following events on the day within our service:
- We are hosting a Wellbeing and Inclusion Football Tournament – 16 teams from local mental health community teams and organisations involved with mental health services will be participating in our fun annual event.
- Our Woking Safe Haven will be holding Mindfulness sessions during their evening opening hours for clients and staff to get involved in.
- Our Head Office will be holding a lunch and chat session during the lunch hour for all staff, volunteers and clients to attend.
Stay in touch via social media @CATALYSTethos to see how the events go.
