Aldershot Safe Haven moving to permanent premises in July

The Safe Haven in Aldershot is moving to permanent premises in late July, 2022, following a period at a temporary location.

The existing Safe Haven at 8 Andover Way, Aldershot GU11 3RJ will continue to see people in person and virtually until the move in July. The move will take place during the day and there will be no disruption to service. The new premises at Walpole House, Pickford Street, GU11 1TZ will be open from 6pm as usual on the day of the move.

The move to Walpole House has been planned for some time and people who use services, partners and staff have been consulted on the move. The team have worked hard to get the new building ready for this July.

The Aldershot Safe Haven opens from 6pm-11pm Mondays to Fridays, and from 12.30pm-11pm on weekends and bank holidays. People will also be able to continue to receive help both in person and virtually. They can connect virtually by clicking on this link: https://nhs.vc/sabp/safe-haven-aldershot

The new Safe Haven at Walpole House, Pickford Street is centrally located in Aldershot town and is  around 5 minutes’ walk from both the train station and the bus station. There are a number of bus stops and routes within a short walking distance. Free parking is available on Ground Floor and Level 2 of the nearby High Street multi-storey car park from 6pm daily.

The Safe Haven partners, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Frimley CCG, and third sector providers, Catalyst and Andover Mind, will continue to keep people who use services and stakeholders up to date with further developments.
