We are in the running to have a Darzi Fellow!
Darzi Fellows are :
* catalysts for the spread of innovation at pace and scale – improving health, generating economic growth and helping facilitate change across whole health and social care economies.
* they connect regional networks of NHS and academic organisations, local authorities, the third sector and industry – responding to the diverse needs of our patients and populations through partnership and collaboration.
* they create the right environment for relevant industries to work with the health and social care system.
They are bright and ambitious people working on a range of projects covering everything from end of life care to mental health, social prescribing and frailty. Darzi Fellows come from multi-professional clinical backgrounds, including doctors, nurses and midwives, allied health professionals, paramedics, dentists, healthcare scientists and pharmacists.
The programme is full-time for one year, with Fellows undertaking one main project for their sponsor – and we could be one of them. Our project is: Engaging the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector with the Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Partnership. It’s all about overcoming barriers and working in equal partnerships to improve outcomes for people.
You can help us spread the word – we need to attract a Fellow and become the first charity in Surrey to have a Darzi!
